My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This Historical fiction was a great and emotional book that left me kind of overwhelmed. I normally don't like historical fiction but this was one of the better ones. Everything was perfect! I couldn't ask for more, but it still seems a little too emotional for me. I would still recommend this book to those who like historical fiction!

Synopsis
The year is 1912 and Lady Amelia Williams is one of the wealthiest women in Manchester England and mother to the lovely Abigail. When James Thomas, the son of a family who has recently moved to the countryside is invited to dine at the Williams manor he encounters the secret that Amelia has long kept hidden behind the walls of her home. A woman enslaved into servitude and beautiful beyond words but donned in rags and treated in the cruelest, most appalling way. Her name is Magdalena and one look into her eyes, so full of pain and sadness is enough to capture James's heart. A story of tragedy, sorrow, loss and love, how much can two souls endure when there are those bent on tearing them apart?

Love and War by A.N. Meade

Love and War (Marked by the Vampire Book 4)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is another great book from A.N. Meade. "Love and War" is the best book of the Marked by the Vampire book so far! That characters are becoming bigger than life, with some many twists and turns. It was truly not a boring book! I felt that it was slow at first but it sped up very quickly! over all a great read.

I really enjoyed this book and everything it had to offer. With all of the sci-fi references made this book so much different than what many books try to accomplish. I really enjoyed everything about this book. It did seem very slow at first, but after a while it made up for it towards the middle and continues nicely to the end of the book!
I am absolutely in love with the cover art and all of the small details that this book offered. Overall great read for anyone who loves Science fiction and video games!

Forager by Peter R. Stone

Forager (Forager #1)Forager by Peter R. Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Book was a Great fast paced book! I loved the very complex character and plot! The characters grew as the story went on... This dysatopian novel was not too over powering. adding some romance into this book made me want to read more and made the book better!
I also enjoyed Peter R. Stone's writing style that made the experience seem more authentic.
with everything being said there were a lot of times that the book seemed predictable, but that didn't bother me at all. I am looking forward to read the next book.

Allie Carmichael has always believed life is simple.
You’re born.
You live.
You die.
She has no cause to believe that equation works differently for her, but there has to be a reason the world treats her like a pariah.
When an unexpected move to Kelleys Island brings Aidan McBrien crashing into her life, Allie is thrown by his reaction. He doesn’t shrink from her touch. He doesn’t stutter or make a quick exit. He smiles and welcomes her into his circle of friends, who aren’t exactly comfortable with Allie, but they seem to get her in a way most people don’t.
Finally, Allie has a real shot at normal and rides that high right up to her sixteenth birthday when she wakes in agony—an experience Aidan insists they have all faced. She struggles in ignorance, uncertain of what is real and what isn’t. When she emerges, Allie is different. She has always been different, but even among her extraordinary friends, she and Aidan are special.
As Allie struggles to maintain her tenuous grasp on the power that threatens to overwhelm her, she worries she will lose herself in this strange new world. A dangerous world where she will have to fight tooth and nail to defend the power and freedom that is her birthright.
…only Allie hates to fight.

Lady Overton's Perilous Journey, was very interesting I was not bored at all and felt as if I was back in time. the language made this story very unforgettable along with the complex characters.
although that language helped get into the mindset of the era, I felt as though it was not necessary. I also Loved the many plot twists!
Over all great book!
