The Gap in Time by Jeanette Winterson
The Gap in Time is a wonderful retelling of Shakespeares Winter's Tale. This books starts off as a contemporary romance and switches genres. I enjoyed this book but with the amount of genre switching and more modern timing didn't make the story any better.
I somehow haven't heard of Winter's Tale. :D That's cool that this book switches genres! I like seeing that happen (when it's done well).
